Entries for the Sponsorship Marketing Awards must be completed on this website. To submit your entry, please follow the steps outlined below.
To be eligible for the SMAs, the campaign must have been in-market within the past 16 months (September 30, 2019 to January 1, 2021) with the exception of Sustained Success entries.
Please note one (1) case can be submitted into a MAXIMUM of two (2) categories. A fee will apply to each category that a case is submitted into, with the exemption of our new COVID category
Step1 - Create an Account
In order to submit a case for consideration, you are required to create an account. To do so, please fill out the form below. Once your account is created, you will be sent a confirmation email. Your account will allow you to track your progress while you develop your case submissions and allow you to complete one or more entries simultaneously without having to re-enter your personal information each time. You will also be able to see your submissions, a running total of your submission fees as well as save your work in progress and complete it at your convenience.
Step2 - Add Entries
Once your account is created and you are logged in, you will be able to enter case submissions. Click the “Add New Entry” button and complete the entry form with as much detail as possible.
Your case study must be written off-line and then uploaded as a PDF with a maximum of five (5) supplementary materials (photos, videos or PDF’s). Submitting supplementary material is optional, and not required. For more information on criteria, click here.
- You can save an incomplete entry at any time and complete it later.
- You may delete an in progress entry at any time.
- You can view and edit the details of a submitted entry or an in progress entry from your account summary page.
- Once submitted, an entry cannot be deleted. Should you wish to take your case out of the running, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
- The entry fee is $375 per case submission plus HST. Fees must be paid via credit card or PayPal account by no later than July 21, 2021 at 5:00 PM EST. Cases will not be accepted by the judging panel without full payment.

Step3 - To Submit Creative Online
Case creative can be submitted online in the following formats:
- Print/Documents: jpg/pdf
- Radio: mp3
- Online: URL
- Video: mov (H.264 Quicktime)
PLEASE NOTE: you can upload a MAXIMUM of five (5) creative pieces/executions per case. Any combination will be accepted but entries that exceed 5 creative pieces/executions will not be considered. **This includes links to videos or other creative pieces that may be included in your case document. Your case document will not count as one of the 5 creative pieces/executions unless it contains examples of the creative.
Step4 - Submit Your Entry
Once the entry form has been completed, you may submit it by choosing to edit the specific entry on your summary page, review the information and select the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form. After selecting "Submit", a confirmation page will be displayed. If all the information is accurately displayed, select "Confirm Entry."
Step5 - Pay For Your Entries Select "Pay Online" and your order will be sent to PayPal, where you can pay with your credit card. *IMPORTANT* After completing payment, you must click the link "return to Sponsorship Marketing Council Canada" in order for our entry system to verify your payment with PayPal. If you've paid for entries that aren't showing as paid on your account summary page - please kindly email your PayPal receipt to SponsorshipMarketingAwards@gmail.com and we will reconcile your account.
DEADLINES: To be eligible for this year's show all case submission creative and entry fee payments must be received before July 21, 2021 at 5:00 PM EST.
